Is it just me or are there actually some nice clothes on the shops right now?

Went round the shops today and actually saw quite a few rather nice pieces, flattering dresses, less polyester, was shocked! I know a while ago there was a v long thread lamenting how crap clothes were on the high street ( which I agreed with ), but either fashion has changed or stores have realised that what they were doing isn’t working, but I actually bought something today!! 😀

Anyone else noticed a difference?

I think the problem is my age. I was a teen in the 90's and I'm similar age to what my mum was in the 90's. So I can either choose to dress like I did as a teenager or dress how my mum did when I was a teenager.
There are other options!

I must be the same sort of age as you and dress neither like I did as a teenager or as my mum dressed then.

I went to my local High St today and found nothing. A depressing sea of polyester, garish prints or leopard print. High St RIP.

I concede defeat. I am going to make do with what I have. If I buy anything from now on I am going to buy more expensive. Buy less but spend more.

H and M had a few nice bits today.

BikeRunSki I have a complete Boden Richmond trouser addiction! Apart from the navy and black work staples I have teal, navy spot and stripe, cornflower blue, purple, maroon, pink and navy check.... I keep browsing eBay and accidentally clicking on another pair. I'm after red now.

You could at least tell us what shops you've been to OP!

H&M have some really nice linen bits in...I bought some cropped wide leg trousers, I want to wear them everyday as they are so comfortable!
