My DS and I have been invited to a cocktail party at Wimbledon to celebrate my Ds's success at the Special Olympics world games . But we both need help with what to wear.

Ds is 16 yrs old with learning disability and sensory issues , at the moment he lives in tracksuits and that's it.

I'm 5ft 2 , size 14/16 curvy with a good cleavage , winter jewel colours suit me, we have a limited budget of say £100 per outfit , shoes and bag will be extra .

Forgot to say we are there all day watching tennis before party at 6pm .

for you, maybe something like this OP?

does your son have issues with tight clothing or is he fine with it? all the best x

Thank you , that is lovely, it's jn the basket as we speak.

Ds just doesn't like the tight feeling around his waist or legs , I might be able to get him in some chinos , top will have to be a polo shirt .

We are so proud of him, more so as he really doesn't understand just what a big achievement it was.

Make enquires, in summer smart chinos, a shirt and a jacket should suffice unless it's black tie, for you a nice summer dress eg like you wear to a posh wedding as they need to do double duty for the daytime. If it's black tie you will need a more formal dress. Try charity shops, you'll find something, perhaps too for ds

would a pair of chinos like this work with a polo shirt like one of these? glad you like the dress OP :)
