Opinions on a dress...

I'm going to be that mum, I'm afraid! I'm dressing us all in blue and pink for an event.

Which of these dresses go best with my daughter's dress? The darker blue or the lighter blue? Or do you think I should attempt to find a patterned dress (short on time though).

Dark!

BrillyPribble · 16/05/2019 19:06

Definitely dark

NannaNoodleman · 16/05/2019 19:06

My son and husband are wearing dark blue trousers so I am leaning towards the dark.

The right one goes better in terms of colour, lighter I think? They’re both lovely!

Verite1 · 16/05/2019 19:07

Definitely dark

DorothyZbornak · 16/05/2019 19:21

Another vote for the dark one.

stanski · 16/05/2019 19:23

Dark

DameFanny · 16/05/2019 19:23

Dark

AdaColeman · 16/05/2019 19:24

Dark.
Maybe find a scarf with a floral blue pattern?

EL8888 · 16/05/2019 19:24

Darker blue

Redact · 16/05/2019 19:27

The dark one is closer in colour, however, the lighter one would give contrast especially if your dh and ds are also wearing dark blue

Bluntness100 · 16/05/2019 19:27

Dark...

NannaNoodleman · 16/05/2019 19:32

It's almost unanimous!

I like the idea of the scarf... what do you think of pink. DH & DS are wearing pink shirts, and DD has the pink cardigan.

I do have a pink dressy cardigan but maybe that's too much!

Yes, a pink scarf would be fab! Especially if a similar shade to the shirts.

NannaNoodleman · 16/05/2019 21:37

Thanks for the input.

Now to buy some Spanx... I haven't worn that dress since having two children.

Dark one. Definitely.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 16/05/2019 21:40

When you say scarf what do you mean?

Like a wrap/pashmina thing?
which I think would be lovely but not sure if that's what you mean?

NannaNoodleman · 16/05/2019 21:44

Yes, like a wrap ... not a woolly Grin

Then I def think the dark and a pink wrap in the tones of your daughters cardigan would pull it all together.

Have fun!
