What gradual tanning moisturisers do people really rate? I am going on holiday soon and would just like a little subtle colour before I go.

Garnier Summer body. Best thing ever. I can wear shorts for the first time in my adult life!

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Gradual Tan Lotion,
I haven't found one better ( and have tried loads) , and its on offer for £4.99 in Boots right now!
I use the light Tan as I am very pale ..

Also Garnier summer body. I use the light one and it is the only one that looks natural, and is easy and foolproof to apply.

Great suggestions thanks; I am olive - y skin toned so will try a medium tone I think. Do either of them have that fake tan smell very strongly?

I find I don't need to prep in the same way as a proper fake tan, just slap a load on and wait for it to dry. It lasts a few days so I tend to add more on top every few days. You don't need to exfoliate the old stuff off, it's not that strong a colour. It really is brilliant stuff, very difficult to get wrong.
I'm quite pale and I have the light version and the dark, both work fine on my fair skin.
