Uniqlo sizing help please

I love this top, or at least the idea of it

But it’s not available in a small in the colour I want. Does anyone have it and know if it’s likely to drape enough that a medium would look ok?

I’m a size 8, and had a baby less then two weeks ago, so still a bit of mum tum and boob fluctuations to deal with.

Alternatively, feel free to point me towards something similar.

They don't have medium either now, but I think it would be a bit too big on a size 8 anyway, I find the fit quite generous from Uniqlo. Would the XS definitely be too small for you?

I actually like the white which is available in medium but not small or extra small.

Normally I’d buy the black in a small, but I’ve promised my husband I will try to buy things that aren’t black.

Love the grey/taupe that’s no longer available in any size.

The purple is just a bit out of my comfort zone, colour wise

Ah, I assumed it was the purple as it linked to that. Have you done the measurements on their size chart to see if the XS would fit you? I do find Uniqlo roomy, but that style is supposed to be loose-fitting so perhaps medium would just look a bit swingier.

Also, I know you're trying not to buy black, but you've just had a baby and they are very messy, so white might be a bit of a nightmare to keep stain-free.

This is true but black is just as bad with the milk spit up. I’ll just have to change frequently

Have you clicked on the ‘find your perfect fit button?’ It tends to be quite accurate for me

Uniqlo is massive, I find. I'm a 10 (not a small 10 either) and S is usually way big enough. I tend to size down rather than up.
