Ideas please. I am 60 years old, a size 12 to 14. Obviously I have some thoughts but would like some input please.

These lace dresses are very popular at the moment. Eveningy and elegant. Lots of choice under evening dresses on the Next website. I only just discovered they're a portal for lots of other brands!

If you wanted to wear a floaty top and trousers, Wallis has some lovely ones, I've ordered a couple for a cruise.

I tried this on on a whim and it looks lovely on. I thought at the time it would be lovely for a wedding/wedding reception - if only I'd been invited to one!

Not arrived, am cutting it fine, it is arriving tomorrow. But I also have a family do on Sunday so I may wear a more formal dress Saturday night and wear the new one for lunch Sunday, see what I think when it arrives. Looking forward to it. Once in a while I like something a bit different and this dress could just hit the spot.

Dress is lovely but much more booby than in pic, very low. I would require a minimiser bra to wear it tonight and then I wouldn't fill the top. I like it alot and will keep it for a different type of occasion. A lady of may age would look silly turning up with half her boobs out tonight!!! And my partners adult sons are there with girlfriends, it would be bad form on my part. I will wear my formal dress and have something else to wear tomorrow.

It will be great for a party, or even jive/lindy hop with an extra petticoat underneath! Lovely well made garment. Thanks Speckledy. x
