Too skinny - desperately need jeans.

I've lost a significant amount of weight this last year - family deaths, major op etc. I was already thin, but am now a stick, with horrendously skinny legs. My ankles and calves are just slightly wider than 1 hand span, and as for a gap between my thighs... You could drive a bus between them, and my knees don't even meet.

Skinny jeans are the worst fashion ever! Can anybody please suggest a shop/brand that might sell a size zero that aren't skinny fit that don't look ridiculous or cost £££s? I don't want full on boot cut but I'd like something that de-emphasises my tiny ankles. I've had kids so have hips but I am fed up of being in too short aged 10-12 children's jeans.

I'm down to a single pair of raggedy Denim & Co jeans somebody gave me (size 6 UK) and even they are now too big to wear without a belt.

Anyone? Thanks.

Hollister go down to size zero ..Topshop and even Primark do size 4 and 6... Loads of shops do size 6 now .

Topshop size 4 (a 4 is the equivalent to a US 0 but I’d stay away from the US brands as most of them run large so are more like a UK size 6 or even 8). They should have plenty of non-skinny styles.

Primark? They do loads of 4s

Stumpedasatree · 15/05/2019 17:30

H&M are good for me, I'm also a 6. ASOS do waist size too, 24". I have also got some nice jeans from J Crew and Anthropologie, which just about fit. Sorry you've had a horrible sounding time.

Sorry for all the horrible things that have happened to you Thanks
I find European brands like Zara & Mango etc come up small compared to UK/US brands.
And of course very expensive designer brands come up tiny if you want to look on eBay if that's more your budget?

Look for Fornarina jeans. Lots of different styles and very flattering on slender legs

Hellywelly10 · 15/05/2019 22:07

Ive seen lots of small size jeans in my local tk maxx.

My teen is a 4. She has primark H&M holister jeans. She is 5.3 in height and length is always fine

Argggg, I´m hopeless, sorry for not replying to everyone earlier, and thanks for your kind words.

I can only buy online so I´ve ordered 2 different sizes pairs from Hollister and bought a pair of vintage Levi 715s on ebay - the only very expensive designer brand I could think of - thanks relaxed2atee.

Many thanks to all, here´s hoping one pair at least will fit and look good. Next, shorts - I´m kidding!
