So I am due to attend an awards lunch where there is a decent chance that the team I lead will win an award so I would like to look fabulous should I have a keepsake photo of the occasion.
It's a fairly creative industry so don't need to look too corporate and I am relatively adventurous with my style.
Budget: £500 for full outfit
I am 5'8, 40 years old (but apparently look younger), size 12, quite slim limbs but large chest, blondey light brown hair, green eyes. Suit baby blue, navy, red if it's not too orange, pastel yellow at a push, pink, cerise pink, neutral beige, mint, grey, gold but not silver, orange, green, brown. Frills tend to look a bit fussy and try hard on me.
As it's a lunch, I'm looking for something not too formal. I quite like the idea of a jumpsuit but worry I will look top heavy and that i maybe too long in the body to pull it off. I like the prairie dresses that are currently in style but would really like something classic with a twist. Any help or ideas really welcome.
