Tips for washing my fringe less often?

I've dyed my hair red and to reduce fading I've decided to wash my hair less often. I currently wash approx every 4 days. I want to push it to once a week.

I'm happy with all that but I have a long fringe. Pre-colour I'd wash my fringe almost daily but I can't do that now or it will end up a different colour to the rest of my hair!

Any tips (other than dry shampoo) to dealing with several day old fringes? I know I'll have to clip ot up towards to end of the week but would like to be able to wear it down more than 2 days a week! My hair hates water only washes.

Every four days is pretty good going!

A tip I received and have always sworn by is to spray dry shampoo is fresh clean, blow dried/styled hair. Don’t wait for it to get greasy before using it.

@JuniperBeer that's interesting and I can see the logic. Dry shampoo always makes my hair dull though. Clean looking but not as shiny as normal.
