Where is good for basic tops in a large range of colours?

I'm looking for some basic tops and tees (short and maybe 3/4 sleeves) in some specific colours (a warm yellow, rust orange, ocean blue... maybe others). My usual go-to places don't have anything I like.

Where would be good for basics? Ideally good quality (not Primark), if possible ethically made.

Kettlewell, huge range of colours

NoTheresa · 13/05/2019 17:41

Uniqlo

M and S have a massive range now and different fits too

DameSquashalot · 13/05/2019 17:45

I was going to suggest Uniqlo 😊

Esprit. Quite a few organic cotton options there too.

Lands End?

TarragonSauce · 13/05/2019 19:25

M & S have some great ones in, and very reasonable - £4.50 upwards. They wash very well too.

I ordered from Uniqlo for the first time a few days ago; the order came today and I am really impressed.

I find h and m very good for basics. Not sure what colours they have at the minute though.

Weekday is great, nice quality and good value.

Next. Basic t shirts either £5.50 or £6 in loads of colours and come in v neck and round. Also Primark but size up

Kettlewell is great for colours!

DianaT1969 · 14/05/2019 18:54

Kettlewell for colours. Primark t-shirts last ages actually. H&M can be good too for cotton basics.

viccat · 14/05/2019 19:20

Thanks all! I've ordered a couple from Uniqlo now and will look on Kettlewell as well. I had already been to H&M, they seem to have fewer colourful options this year but I've got some nice stripes from there. Time to update my basics collection and move some of my older tops into the night and home wear pile...
