Trousers for Lake District holiday

Hi all. I'm holidaying in the Lake District in early June and need to buy some new trousers. I'm on the short side (5.3) and very curvy with thighs and a bottom which whilst not huge mean that I currently don't wear trousers aside from jeans now and then, preferring instead dresses. I'm going to be walking though (not fell walking but some of those 4 mile circular walk type stomps) so trousers will probably be a better plan unless any of you have any better suggestions. I do shop at Next a lot so would be looking for something in their price range. Thank you.

Gym leggings will be fine for low level stomps.

I was in the Lake District over Easter doing the kind of walking you're talking about and bought some quite thick cotton trousers from fat face which worked well. I'm the same sort of size and build as you too.

I went two weeks ago and I bought some waterproof trousers form decathlon, which absolutely was the best thing since it was raining all of my stay.

However, even if it wasn’t, I think I might still wear them as they’re easy to wipe clean and I could get as dirty as I liked and all the canoeing and kayaking activities were sorted.

Otherwise just any sports joggers for would do

Thanks all. Usually wear dresses and heels and avoid the gym so joggers are an unknown world for me😁

Do you have a link to the Fat face trousers weebarra?
