OK can you try and settle this for me. I've attached a pic of a teeny bit of my hair, don't want to out myself!

What colour is my natural hair? I feel it's such a boring non descript colour!

Dirty blonde or mousey brown depending on how you describe it. I wouldn't say its non descript, it's a colour you can have a lot of fun with because it can be so multitonel in different lights.

Casmama · 12/05/2019 22:15

Could be dark blonde or mousy brown depending on the light I would think.

EntirelyAnonymised · 12/05/2019 22:16

Awful pic so difficult to tell but looking at that photo, there is a lot of red in the hair. Probably auburn.

Drogosnextwife · 12/05/2019 22:16

Dirty blonde

MoltonSilver · 12/05/2019 22:35

Light warm brown

Freyanna · 12/05/2019 22:40

Light brown

Ohyesiam · 12/05/2019 22:41

Reddish blond

FreshAprilStart · 12/05/2019 22:42

Can you do another picture with your hair showing more?

azulmariposa · 12/05/2019 22:52

Brown

goose1964 · 12/05/2019 23:26

Same as mine. It's on the border between dark blonde and light brown with a hint of red. I think the technical name is mousy.

I hate it and think it's boring but quite a few people, over the years, have complimented me, on it.

PointlessUsername · 12/05/2019 23:31

Dirty Blonde

BlueCornishPixie · 12/05/2019 23:33

To me that looks either auburn or brown.

The tips auburn but the roots or inner bits brown. I'm not getting blonde

MillicentMartha · 12/05/2019 23:54

Light warm brown.

CountFosco · 13/05/2019 05:42

Mousy or dirty blond are such horrible names for such a beautiful hair colour. It is such a British colour and is seen as so exotic in the rest of the world. Enjoy it.

Veterinari · 13/05/2019 05:45

It’s not blonde. Blondes have ashy or honey tones.
Your hair has reddish tones so is in the brown/red spectrum.
Light chestnut/auburn

RuggyPeg · 13/05/2019 06:55

Dirty blonde? No way is it. It's more Auburn than any kind of blonde.

KooMoo · 13/05/2019 07:14

Auburn. Why?

dudsville · 13/05/2019 07:26

Mousey brown

Letthemysterybe · 13/05/2019 07:31

I’ve always had mousey hair. I don’t mind my hair but I bloody hate the word mousey.

RuggyPeg · 13/05/2019 18:18

Auburn cos it's warm with red tones.

Fresta · 13/05/2019 18:24

Doesn't look at all blonde to me! It's brown with maybe some red in there- quite dark.
