Spanx

It's time to admit I'm never going to lose the tummy, however much I kid myself that the diet will start tomorrow, it really won't.
I have a garden party in a couple of weeks and have a really pretty maxi dress to wear, but as it's stripy, highlights my tum.

Is Spanx worth the cost? Can anyone recommend a high street equivalent?

For context, I'm 43, tall, 36E boobs, size 16 and really want to start wearing nice clothes, instead of hiding behind sacks!

From my experience they will make you miserable and uncomfortable. They are fine for smoothing lumps and bumps but as they just squish the flab elsewhere they don’t really help overall. Mine aren’t fine standing but give me more of a belly sitting! Wear the dress with pride and draw attention to your boobs (so jealous) and be comfortable. No one will notice your tum except you!

Thank you, that's really made me smile Smile and you're probably right!
