Styling Wide Leg Ankle Length Trousers

I have just bought these. I was thinking to wear them with either slip on vans/Birkenstock Arizona but what about tops ? I'm just so used to slim leg trousers I'm not sure what looks good with them.

What does everyone else wear with them ?

I wear a lot of wide, cropped trews (yours are quite a bit longer). I always wear either a tucked in top, or something slightly cropped which sits just on the waistband. In summer usually a t-shirt or stripy top, in winter slim-fit polo necks, or crew-neck jumpers. I tend to wear trainers, or brogues on my feet - I have Stan Smiths in black, and white, black glittery Gazelles, and grey Continental 80s. I’m 5ft 6, size 10, small waist but wide hips/arse.

Do you think they're too long ? Sit on me the same length as the model.

I wouldn’t wear them at that length, I prefer them more cropped, but that’s just me. (To me those look slightly too short, not cropped.)
