Work wardrobe after maternity leave

I'm due to return to work after a year on maternity leave. Desperately need some style tips for a new work wardrobe as I've spent my maternity leave mostly in leggings and sweaters. Sometimes PJs all day longGrin. I'm size 14-16 (with my new extra wobbly belly), apple shape, 5'5". I need some recommendations for easy to put together outfits to look even semi-presentable at work. Please share your tried and tested outfits or go-to items please. Usually I go for simple blouses and straight trousers with low heels/flats or simple shift dress with black tights and flats/knee high boots. I just have no idea and panicking about looking scruffy.

Please help wisdom of mumsnet!

Hello my lovely. I am in the exact same baot, about to go back to work in June. I've bought a few shirt dresses. They look classic and smart and are an instant outfit - you don't have to worry about tops and bottoms when rushing in the morning!

I wear lots of Joanie dresses which I like because they often have pockets, wash really well and don’t need ironing.
