Looking for a ballet shoe type thing that’s slightly elevated

I know you lot are good with this kind of thing so hope you can help! I’m flat footed and find entirely flat shoes very uncomfortable to wear. Much better with a low heel, but as I’m getting older even the lowest heels are messing with my back and knees as I have arthritis.

I’m fine with trainers, low boots and oddly, Havana flip-flops but other flat shoes are very uncomfortable. Trainers are fine with jeans or leggings and flip flops only work for a couple of months a year: I need something that goes with dresses but that is flat with a bit of arch elevation. No such thing seems to exist.

So oh wise mumsnetters, can you help me with a casual and comfy shoe that’s also pretty but has some support/elevation?

Thanks in advance.

Ooh sorry should have added:

And is suitable for spring/autumn when it’s too warm for boots but too cold for flip flops.

Have you looked at Fitflops? I have this pair for work but they do have different colours/styles.

May not be the prettiest but they’re comfortable & my feet don’t hurt like they did in flats!

Ooh thanks this looks like the kind of thing I was after. Are they really as comfy as trainers?

Fitflops are really flat, something to do with strengthening legs. I liked them for a while but found they have me sore ankles?!

I have some fit flop ballet pumps that are comfortable to stand in but I find they are a bit rigid, that might be because they’re a bit big so they don’t bend with my feet.

have a look at Pavers, sale on too.
