I'm a bit confused. Trying to decide if it's worth buying.

I know 99% of people on here who have one love it but I don't see why? What is it that is so special?

More importantly, do you think I'd benefit? I like swooshy hair but wash it as little as possible. I find my centre part fringe difficult to style. I'm not very good at using tools or doing my hair.

It's quite expensive to buy on the off chance.

I've thick, coloured hair that is just below my shoulders and a fringe. This sounds rediculous but I'm not actually sure if it's staightish or curly (I've never done curly girl. If I leave it air dry it's very wavey with some ringers. If I scrunch it in the shower, it's very curly but if I blow dry it, it goes reasonably straight but will start to get waves and the ends flick up).

It pulls loads of hairs out! It's a finishing tool but the curl doesn't last ime, I won't be replacing it when it breaks.
