What shoes would work with this dress pretty please

HI I’ve an outdoor Summer party thing coming up in a few weeks. I bought this Maje dress yesterday which is hugely out of my comfort zone but I do really like it. But what shoes?? I was thinking maybe red velvet heels? Im open to ideas. They cant be crazy high, I'm tall anyway, and id like them to be comfortable to stand around chatting in (and possibly drunk dancing in later)
Oh wise ones, guide me, budget moderate..

I would go for tan/brown leather wedges - wedges so you don't sink into grass, brown goes with most brights (so could easily wear with other stuff) and makes your legs look more tanned.
