Where is best for proper jeans?

I've had all my babies so hopefully my figure won't be changing too much for a while. I want to invest in some good quality jeans. Proper old school denim. No stretch! I like a boyfriend cut or straight leg (but not skinny!)

All I can find are stretchy, skinny rubbish! Help!

I’m loving New look Jenna jeans right now Smile

Deeply in trendy but M&S have an amazing range with all sorts of fits, cuts and weights of denim. My favourite jeans come from there and we're £25.

If money is no object (!) the denim studio at Selfridges is amazing. They will find you your perfect jeans.

From the high street I am really loving my new boyfriend cut jeans from M&S. They are denim/linen - no stretch - with a straight cut and turn ups at the bottom. £30.

Old school Levis. The non-stretch are a bit harder to come by but worth it - think you can find Chill Pill 501s online still!

I really like the high waist skinny M and S jeans and they’re good value at £22 . I also like ASOS own brand jeans but it takes a bit of trial and error to find the style you like .

I really don't want skinny though. I was thinking vintage shops might be a good place to start. Or M and S sounds promising! I'm not worried about trendy (never been a priority!). All the trendy ones seem to have half the material missing at the minute Grin
