Hi all,

Just recovered from a flu type thing with all the cold and cough etc. The skin around my nose has gone really dry. So far I have tried using olive oil, Nivea blue one, neals yard wild rose balm and rose hip oil from sukin and nothing is touching it. Today it has started to peel a bit and changing dark. What do I do? Any tips advice? Thanks !

Tbh OP I wouldn't go splashing out if those haven't worked. Maybe it just needs to heal itself for a few days?

If I'm in a similar state I cleanse with extra virgin olive oil and moisturise with glycerin urea cream. 5% facial one if it's a bit dry and tight, the 10% if it's beyond help. Hope it heals up quick- all you need after the bloody flu isnt it! Flowers

Thanks all for recommendations, @dontgobaconmyheart thanks for the flowers :), urea sounds like a good idea. Yes I guess body needs to heal overall and then will show on skin. I am back to work for a meeting after a week and lots of concealer and foundation is in plan for the day.
