Baggy crotch syndrome

I have this weird reverse camel toe type thing that goes on in trousers and jeans - doesn’t matter what style. A 12 fits me properly on the waist and round the bum. I can squeeze into a 10 but then I get a muffin top, and it still doesn’t actually fix the crotch issue. It’s as if everything is slightly wrong for me across the front tops of my thighs, and I end up with extra fabric that bulges and eventually sags across the crotch. I don’t wear ordinary trousers that much, but in jeans I’ve tried everything from new look to Levis and they all sag and bunch in the same place. Doesn’t matter if they are skinnies or boyfriend. I wear a belt to hold everything in the right position, but it still happens. Does anyone know what I mean and have a magic solution - I think the problem is me rather than the jeans, given I’ve tried just about every brand going. Or should I just not care?

Have you tried high waisted jeans and pulling them up as high as possible then doing up the belt?

It’s to do with the crotch curve of the trousers not being the same as your anatomy. It’s fixable but difficult on trousers with flies (as opposed to leggings etc). Fitting trousers is difficult, a tailor might help.

This might help. It’s not that technical but helps explain what’s going on.
