Tops to fit small shoulders/big stomach

Help needed please! Every sleeveless top in my wardrobe is 'gapey' at the armpits after losing weight, and I have quite a lot of loose skin etc that I'm delicate about. Post-3 babies, I don't want anything too tight on my stomach. I estimate I'm a 6-8 on the arms/shoulders, and maybe an 8-10 on the stomach. I actually have quite decent toned arms but it's the underarm/bra strap area which i struggle with.

Can anyone help me please with a few tops, 'capsule wardrobe staples' type things, sleeveless, that are wide and fitted at the chest/shoulders but not skin tight or cropped at the stomach. Or can recommend Any brands that are notoriously tight on the arms?

Afraid I don't have any recommendations but am also a bit, shall we say 'baggy' in the underarm area Grin so giving this thread a bump in case anyone can help!

Spaghetti thanks! Just in primark and I notice a lot of little crop top type things, so toying with the idea of wearing one under a floaty top? I have bought one to try so will report back. I also find that my soft wide sports bras are much better at preventing the bulge!

Is that a S&B no-no?

If the straps are only narrow, I tend to hoik them up so the underarm area is covered, then pin and stitch the shoulder seams.

The night I have considered a little dart in certain tops, do you not find it pulls things in an odd way though?

Two of my new primark tops seem to be ok, they have the right combo of tight arms and loose body. Bought two colours but will go back tomorrow to see if they have any more. The problem is actually my bra, but no bra intervention in the world can get rid of this bulge (I have tried, trust me). The crop top bras I bought weren't any better than my own sports bra so I'm taking them back although I might try on a few different style ones tomorrow (without my little 'helper' Ds)

Failing that, I wonder if strapless is the way to go? Or those t-shirts with a very tiny short sleeve/cuff sleeve? Although I do like a sleeveless really.

(Or actually, not being so hung up on it would be the optimum. Everyone has it to some degree I'm sure. Even Jennifer Anniston in friends had it Grin)
