Yep, I have a pair in pale blue and some in a nice sandy colour, Im normally in jeans so these are a nice change. Those ones are nice.

Unbelievable18 · 07/05/2019 10:31

@pumpkinpie01, where are yours from?

This will be no use to you at all - there is a factory outlet near me that sells all sorts with the labels cut out so haven't got a clue. I wore mine Saturday with little heeled black boots and a black jumper or I've worn them with a white blouse tucked in, my teenage daughter is a fashion expert and she said I looked nice, she would say if I didn't! I would buy them if I were you , you can dress them up or down.

The woman I work with has a pair. She looks like Max Wall.

CrispbuttyNo1 · 07/05/2019 10:44

I keep seeing women wearing these and no matter what shape their figure is I think they look absolutely ridiculous on anyone.

I have several pairs.
M&S linen from last year.
M&S denim in dark/black/light.
Black silk from Eileen Fischer.
Jigsaw Crocus culottes.
As you can see I’ve wholeheartedly embraced the trend in spite of not being young, tall or skinny 😁.

MinesaPinot · 07/05/2019 13:42

I've got a couple of pairs in black, from H & M and Sainsburys Tu, respectively which I wear for work, together with a pale lightweight denim which I got from Joy last year.

And I've just bought some white/blue striped cotton ones from Primark.

I wear mine with a fitted shirt or jumper and flats (either sandals or ballet pumps).

I like the ones you've linked there OP and the model looks nice in them. They can look good on the right person worn with the right top and footwear. I think they need a light cami top or v neck t shirt either cropped or tucked in. Personally I'm not so keen on them with trainers and think they make legs look a bit too short and I prefer the look with sandals or a heel.
I have a pair of wide leg cropped jeans but they only really work with certain shoes, I don't get that much wear out of them.

Unbelievable18 · 07/05/2019 19:28

I have bought them now, think a v-neck tshirt tucked in will look good, thanks. I have some slim white trainers or flat sandals I can wear with them or some medium wedges.

Yep. I wear mine with either with chunky trainers and an oversized t shirt tucked in or a cropped sweatshirt. Or I wear them with DM style boots, tank top and leather jacket.

sorry link typing fail ... (but it works )

goose1964 · 07/05/2019 19:40

I have some from M&S. Emerald green and they are really flattering

CountFosco · 07/05/2019 19:42

Oh, those are nice. I got cropped wide legged cords from UNIQLO last year and love them despite being short. Fashion is for everyone. I wear them with brogues.

Thankssomuch · 07/05/2019 20:44

I don’t know if mine are along the same lines as what you mean but I have just bought the White Company linen wide leg crops - I love them - I got the navy but may have to purchase the white too. Have worn them with Supergas in white.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 07/05/2019 22:12

I have loads - mainly from Cos, Topshop, and Warehouse. I wear them with fitted tops, either tucked in or slightly cropped and sitting on the waistband, and either trainers or brogues. I am 5ft 6 and a 10, if that helps.

Gentlemanwiththistledownhair · 07/05/2019 22:50

Yep, I love them. And they suit me (even if I do say so myself) at 5"4 and a curvy 10. I particularly love ones in heavier material, I have some cord ones that drape beautifully. Wear with trainers or heeled boots.

Floisme · 08/05/2019 07:12

I love them too although only in good weather as I prefer bare skin to boots. I started off a couple of years ago with H&M and now also have some from the Uniqlo U range and Toast. There are some on the current M&S thread that look good too although I've not seen them for real.
I prefer them slightly longer than in some of the links here - top of the ankle rather than calf length but I'm short so this is never an issue. I wear with brogues or plimsolls in the summer.
I wore skinnies for 10 years and nothing I wear will ever look as ridiculous as they did.
