Slim fit Cropped trousers/chinos for summer

So I think that if I gave some slim fit cropped trousers or chinos in navy or black they will be my summer wardrobe holy grail. However I'm a size 14, big bum big thighs, fat cankles...
I've tried next, joules, Boden...trying fat face next.
Has anyone got some/seen some they can recommend to me please?

Sainsbury’s have a good range. I bought some for my Easter holiday, they looked good and have washed well.

I'm size 14, short, and not blessed with long lean legs. I've bought a couple of pairs of H&M ankle length chinos. I think they're quite flattering and I'm really pleased with them. They did have lots of different colours but were selling out fast. I've been recommending them loads.
