Eco friendly make up?

Does anyone have any recommendations for how to make my make up and beauty routine more eco friendly? I'm really trying to avoid plastic packaging as well as nasty ingredients. I try and buy moisturisers etc in glass jars where possible and have just bought a shampoo bar instead of liquid shampoo, I use soap not shower gel...but I am also thinking of things like mascara, foundation etc. I've seen some packaged in bamboo which look quite nice but I can't afford to spend too much ££££ . Thanks!

you can make homemade mascara easily, and put it in a reusable bottle like this. recipe here.

foundation packaged in bamboo can be found here, you can buy refills to use with the original packaging

concealer here

deodorant that is packaging free here

toothpaste that is packaging free here

toothbrush here

i know some of the above aren't makeup but they are everyday things that people forget contain plastic. all the best x

Thanks that make up looks great but I draw the line at making my own mascara! Prices pretty good too.

Already have bamboo toothbrushes.

I'm thinking of buying some of the make up remover pads, anybody tried them?
