Dress to wear for wedding - too young for me?

Excuse my bedroom. It’s rarely tidy. Anyway - am I too old for this dress?! (36)
I want to look nice. It’s a family wedding and everyone else will look beautiful. They have time and money that I do not have. However this dress is new and not something I’d usually choose.
