Can anyone recommend a great face cream/moisturiser?

I currently use Olay sensitive with SPF15.

I'm 34, fair skin, I've got a bit of an oily t-zone but get a dry forehead and cheeks.

I've got huge pores and get breakouts around my time of the month. My skin doesn't react well to perfumed products either. My skin feels quite thin and I'm starting to get fine lines.

Basically, my skin is just not good. I'm wondering whether it's worth investing in a high quality moisturiser. Years ago I was recommended a great foundation on here and have never looked back.

If you want to invest in skincare, you're best with serums and treatments.
Or, any old moisturiser will do!
For instance I am using about 3 different serums, mid price range but alternate between blue Nivea and whatever L'Oreal/Olay/Garnier is on offer. Even if they have peptides, Hyaluronic acid etc, the quantities are too small to truly make a difference because they're just hidden in a basic base moisturising cream.
The only moisturiser I have had that's ever made a difference is Neal's Yard Frankincense, but that's the essential oil, not the cream.
The biggest game changers I've found are an acid toner, a vit C serum, and a hyaluronic serum.
