Anyone else attracted to black?

So I've purchase some summer clothes and shoes recently and I was just packing them all away and noticed that I've got a lot of black 🙈 I really tried to buy other colours than black but everything just looks so much better in black!

My DD's came shopping with me yesterday and was constantly steering me away from the black and picking the same item up in a different colour but it didn't look as good in red, orange and green 😬

My other go to colour is navy and I've noticed I've got a lot of that too!

I did manage to buy a mustard colour pair of shorts from primark but instantly teamed it up with a black top and sandals. I'm dreadful for it.

Anyone else just go straight for the black? I find it so much more attractive.

I love black, it suits me far better than bright colours.

Me. deep down I'm still a 15 year old goth.
I know it doesn't do much for me, so I've lightened up with navy or very dark grey. I have to consciously steer myself from black.

Most things look better in black

I love black. But I'm a kiwi, it's our colour of choice.

nannyplummyarse · 05/05/2019 16:02

@NottonightJosepheen I do find it suits me best.

@Freshprincess yep this is me. I was ordering some lounge wear and in my head I'm thinking "stay away from the black. No black. Ohhh look they've got it in black" 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I ordered two different styles in black 😬

I did order a jumpsuit in a wine red colour and it's hanging on my wardrobe door and I keep looking at it when I walk past and I can't get used to it. I honestly can't see myself wearing it.

I have loads of black, white and grey in my wardrobe and tend to steer towards those 3 colours every time. Black is a classic and personally I think it's a good colour for me. It also allows plenty of room for dressing up with accessories so you can wear colourful earrings, shoes or jewellery if you need a pop of colour.

I only have one black top :) I hate black.

Another kiwi here who lives in the uniform of all black.

I love finding summer dresses and things in black, too! I got a lovely 100% cotton one from cos this year.
