It’s a crap mix. The denim shirt makes it casual but the suit is formal. I wouldn’t wear it to work.

ClashCityRocker · 05/05/2019 15:28

It just looks like she's not washed her normal work tops on a Sunday so has had to rock up on Monday morning wearing the most suitable top from her non-work clothes.

Natalie9250 · 05/05/2019 15:28

That's a cotton shirt, not a denim one.

I think PPs only clicked on one of the links? I think it looks fine! I'd wear that at my work which is definitely more casual, but I'd be dressed more formally than most! Sorry that's probably not a lot of help haha I think these dress codes can be tricky! I think to look more formal you'd need to match the trousers and jacket

ClashCityRocker · 05/05/2019 15:33

It's cotton that is designed to resemble denim though, which makes it look rather informal.

Business casual I think. It would be OK for day to day non-client facing office at my place, but perhaps not for client meetings or networking events.

ElloBrian · 05/05/2019 15:33

Can’t quite tell which items you are suggesting combining from which links ?

ClashCityRocker · 05/05/2019 15:34

Ah I didn't realise there were multiple links!

Like the shoes.

ClashCityRocker · 05/05/2019 15:37

Sorry, I thought you were looking at the denim style shirt.

I'm not sure on the blazer, as it looks more like a smart jacket. But I don't think you would look odd.

Natalie9250 · 05/05/2019 15:37

Yes. Combining all the links.

I think it’s a great combination. Definitely not business casual, but I tend to think of business formal as having a skirt. It’s got a 90s vibe to it.

mimibunz · 05/05/2019 15:41

Actually, that suit is linen and will be horribly wrinkled by the time you get to wherever you’re going.

aliceelizaloves · 05/05/2019 15:43

I would say business formal. I like it I think, it's difficult to think how it would all look together but i like the way the jacket and trousers don't match. I don't work at a very formal setting though so I might be out of date.

Natalie9250 · 06/05/2019 11:01

I think stretch cotton for shirts like this is definitely not the most formal one, but still acceptable.
