My hair has got thicker as I’ve got older (50s) and I like to wear it long.

It’s down to mid chest length. I have a full fringe and the rest is more or less all one long length. It’s straight but I hate the look of straightened hair on me so it has a natural tousled look.

If I go shorter it does go a bit helmet like which doesn’t suit me.

Any longer and it’s a bit Witch-like!

I’m not really a hot person but last summer I did find my hair a bit heavy in the heat.

I like to tip my head upside down if blow drying or I just let it dry naturally.

I have Babyliss big hair which I occasionally use and a few other similar styling/drying gadgets/tools.

I’m thinking of having layers put in to make it flick out a bit more.

What do you think of this hairstyle?

My worst fear is hair like Kate Garraway which is very styles and does not suit me. But I don’t want to look like I’ve been dragged through a bush either!

The middle picture is how my loooks now but my fringe is fuller and the overall length is longer.
