I have A. They are so comfy.

Soontobe60 · 06/05/2019 07:35

I'd buy A and live in birkenstocks from May til October. My 82 yr o,d mum would love B or C 🤣

ritzbiscuits · 06/05/2019 07:42

A are the only viable ones, agree with others B/C are old lady.

And would second Birkenstock's too!

dudsville · 06/05/2019 09:02

The first rule of clothing choice is to consider what age it makes you look. Anything below 20 yrs and above 45 yrs is unacceptable. The second rule is that you must not look like you enjoy walking or have to do much in your day. The third rule is that these first 2 must be obeyed and nothing else matters.

NiteFlights · 06/05/2019 09:21

A. I like them. The others, including SimplyPut’s suggestions, are not good at all (sorry).

CountFosco · 06/05/2019 09:49

They are all hideous, it's the thick soles. If you must the A might possibly be able to suggest you have some interest in style depending what you wear them with.

I think it's perfectly possible to get simple flat sandals that are comfortable, suitable for walking but not hideous.

Hell, Tevas are currently having a fashion moment so if you must go orthopaedic wear those, or Birkies. Embrace the ugly properly, that is way cooler than the abomination of sandal B.

AnyFucker · 06/05/2019 09:56

All horrible, sorry

They look like what my mum wears and she has "problem" feet

Clearyweary · 06/05/2019 11:46

I have a pair of Sandal B. They are soooo comfy and not grannyish as they look. Highly recommend!

goose1964 · 06/05/2019 13:51

Dudsville why should we rule out things that make you look over 45🤔? Some of us are already over 45.

FiremanKing · 06/05/2019 16:38

Some granny looking ones look fab on a young person, they can carry the look off. On me however they serve to make me look grumpy and old woman-y.

I don’t want to look like mutton dresses as lamb or old before my time.

Ohyesiam · 06/05/2019 16:45

Is everyone else seeing a different A to me? It’s no less orthopaedic than B or C surely?
I’m in myfifties and I’m not ready for that sort of thing yet. I am a confirmed Birkenstock wearer, so it’s not like I want strappy heals.?

mrsgandy · 06/05/2019 16:53

I like A

luckylavender · 06/05/2019 17:09

I wouldn't chose any of them but A is the best of the choice.

Rooftree · 06/05/2019 18:06

goose I think dudsville was being sarcastic

DisplayPurposesOnly · 06/05/2019 18:16

None, but B if you must.

I don't like black sandals (unless you live entirely in black or jeans). I think they really bring a light summery outfit down.

CamdenTownie · 06/05/2019 18:17

Definitely A - the others are very old fashioned.

IncrediblySadToo · 06/05/2019 18:21

ohyesiam. I wondered that too!

I hate HATE sandals.

If I had to pick from yours, then C. A look more orthopaedic to me!

Out of yours and the next lot listed the the second B.

JaceLancs · 06/05/2019 20:55

They are all awful
I’m 55 and can’t imagine wearing any of them at 75

bluebeck · 06/05/2019 21:21

B are hideous.

I agree with PP - buy Birkenstocks instead. If you HAD to wear one of those three it would be A. I am in mid fifties by the way.

cheeseandpineapple · 06/05/2019 21:27

How is it possible that A is getting the most votes, they’re so austere and frumpy!!
