A dress this shape but in a block colour?

I love this dress as seen on Instagrammer Helen. Thought I would give it a try and the shape is perfect but the pattern makes me look like a complete frump. I'm too fat for such details!

I didn't even know such a term existed! Off to search. My ideal is one with no buttons below the waist.
