I'm not asking for much, some decent leggings that aren't see through and some tops to cover my bum...
I've looked online at Zara, Topshop, river island and h&m. Nothing is standing out. I'm feeling too old for asos and the like. Mark's and Spencer seems too boring. Sick of primark.
I love and other stories but out of my price range.
Any suggestions? I'm 39 with a birthday looming and a size 10 if that helps. I'm into a bit of leopard print and need something that covers my belly. Please help !

I ordered some dresses form silkfred last week. Great quality dresses not at all like boohoo or places like that where everything's polyester 🙈

I love river island leggings. They have a wide waistband and are so comfy and not at all see though. I'm a huge fan of leopard print too so high 5 to that 🤚🏼😅

Also have you tried river island? They've got some gorgeous stuff in atm

Thank you nanny plum ! Good to hear about silkfred. I will check out river island too.
I'm trying to think about sustainable fashion and not buying for the sake of it - but it's really hard on a budget!

I know what you mean. Tbh I don't buy a lot of clothes for myself. I have 5 children so all our money goes on them 🙈 I usually just buy off fb market place for myself but dh won some money and he gave me some so I've been shopping this week and actually thought of myself for once. New look had some nice bits today when I popped in x

Mint Velvet leggings are excellent.

Shein is awful. Absolutely tiny sizes. I bought a size 16 and it fit my size 8 colleague! I buy from curvissa which is a catalogue but you can pay straight away. They do loads of longer length or tunic style tops.

I'm 41. If you're on a budget try Peacocks. I really like their leggings also dresses and shoes. I got some trainers in there recently half the price a similar pair were in New Look.

I also use Asos a lot and like Wallis and Sainsbury Tu range as well. I agree about Asos but I tend to use it for underwear and accessories.
