Best foundation for medium coverage and dewy finish

I'm looking for a new quality liquid foundation with a dewy finish and medium coverage. Off shopping shortly and I don't want to go to every make up concession. I need to know which one I'm heading for. I'm off my favourite Lancome Teint Miracle one since they changed the formula when they recently changed the lid, so I'm looking for something to replace the old version of it.

Definitely it cosmetics- you build it up dependant on how much coverage you like. It's life changing for me!

@pengrin...if u are looking for something full coverage, have a look at dior forever undercover (not the newest forever one, it's in a plastic bottle) or ysl all hours. I previously used ELDW but was starting to find it a bit drying but am liking both these at the moment

Today I've tried the sample I got for EL Nude Water. I don't like it. It has barely any coverage, and didn't seem to go on so smoothly. For a light coverage one, I preferred the Clinique one I tried yesterday, but that wasn't a replacement for Lancome. The Lancome one seems to be the only one that has more coverage, but still manages the dewy finish. I still have the Bobby Brown sample which I'll try tomorrow. But I think I'm going to see if I can get a couple of other samples from the various posts here to see if I can find something as a good alternative. Otherwise, I may have to forego the dewyness to get the same coverage

Honestly, try Boots Hydraluminous. It’s a game changer. Excellent coverage with a dewy (not shiny) finish. And only £15 a tube!

vaz thank you for those suggestions. I’ve tried both during my search and whilst I found the YSL all hours to be great coverage, it oxidised terribly on me. The dior FU was very drying (on my already dry skin) too.

The fuller coverage foundations tend to run matte which is a shame as I too like a dewy look.

I’m definitely going to try the Boots no 7. I really like their blusher and there’s a 3 for two offer on

pengrin I had to try a fair few shades to get one that suited me in the ysl! Yes it did darken about ten minutes after I put it on but then settled. I put up with the colour change cause I like the formula lol

I'm combo skin so the fu suited me well.

Keep me posted if u find something suitable

I really like Nars Radiant TM

Shiseido Syncro Skin Glow is lovely, medium coverage, lots of shades.

Please try CYO foundation from Boots.
It really is fantastic!
A skin like finish that lasts, with medium, buildable coverage. I build it up on my cheeks to cover my acne scars, pigmentation and rosacea redness, and it never looks cakey. Just fresh and smooth.
I do set with powder, and it lasts all day long (although you may not need too).
It doesn't make my t zone oily, nor does it dry out my dehydrated areas. I have used it with a primer, on top of moisturiser and squalene oil, and had the most beautiful, dewy, plump, but not oily looking finish.

Such a fantastic foundation (and I have tried loads), for only £7 ish.

I also love the no7 hydraluminous foundation and concealer too. Both are truly awesome foundations - OP get to boots pronto!!!

I'd recommend investing in CT Hollywood Flawless filter to go underneath your foundation for the dewy finish you'd like!
