Hooked on wearing heels

As the title suggests, I am hooked on wearing heels. Not necessarily massive ones. Even just 1.5 inch block heel ankle boots will do. I feel I look 500% better and feel more me. I probably find them more comfortable than many flat shoes too.
I basically HATE wearing flat shoes. Trainers are ok. Everything else I just hate.

So how do I move away from skinny jeans and ankle boots. Say if I wear straight leg jeans for an everyday look, what kind of shoes do I wear?
I am a sahm so I don't need or want to totter about in stilettos. But SOME height is the one thing that makes me feel I look better.
What about the in between weather that we get lots of, where it's not hot enough to wear sandals (with a heel preferably) ? Brogues and loafers and ballet flats - tried them all and I can't stand them (on me! They're really nice on other people)

This problem seems to restrict my clothing choices. I am average height. I am carrying a few extra pounds, BMI 25, I guess that's the only other solution I can think of, losing 2 stone. Maybe then I'd feel slimmer and more pulled together without heels. I have to wonder if my legs are disproportionately short or something, my dislike of wearing flats is so bad.
Anyone the same?

Wedge sandals?

Yes! I live in stilettos in the week (I work in an office) and then trainers at weekends. And if I have to walk somewhere, then I go for low heels, but never flats. I also don't like wedges as I just feel clompy.

I agree that I feel slimmer in heels, so that may be part of it. But I've been like this since I was a teenager (albeit not stilettos) so I think it's not just body image, it's just become a habit.

Watching with interest though as I struggle for casual footwear in the summer, unless I'm in shorts and trainers, so all ideas welcome!

Thanks for the replies.
Yes, wedges would open up a few options except.....I just don't really like them. Either the look of them (on me) or the way they feel on my foot. I used to wear them occasionally once upon a time though so maybe I shouldn't write them off. Beggars can't be choosers and I'm getting desperate!
So say it's 17- 22 degrees, not roasting but sunny. I don't want to wear sandals because my feet would probably get cold and it can be four seasons in one day/ start to rain.
I want to wear lightweight trousers or cropped trousers. I don't have a clue about the footwear though. Brogues and loafers are just not me! Loafers with low heels, is that possible?
I guess the good thing is I can wear the skinny jean+ ankle boot combo for over half the year weather-wise, but that's boring/dated and is not an option when the weather gets better.
