Cheap foundation for holiday

Hi 👋🏼

I'm off on holiday here on Sunday, I tend to tan quite easily

My normal shade is ivory beige in Estée Lauder Double Wear

I like matte foundation but I really don't wanna spend a wild lot of money on something I'll only wear until the tan fades 🙈

What can I get in Superdrug?

Thank you

Not super drug but Aldis own brand is excellent. I usually have Double Wear too but this has got lots of compliments.

Go on findation. Com pop in your usual one and they will list all other matches, including high street brands.
Enjoy your holiday

Tbh I find I don’t really need it on holiday.

I put some facial moisturizer with tan in the few days before we go. If it’s a pool/beach type holiday I don’t tend to wear any makeup during the day and at night only eyeshadow mascara etc

What about just a BB cream?

Ellapaella · 01/05/2019 23:57

Clinique city block gives spf40 protection and is like a BB cream, gives lovely light coverage that evens out skin tone - perfect for holidays, I use it every summer.

Foundation by MUA is cheap and cheerful.

You could try a tinted BB cream instead like Garnier.

Rimmel London long lasting Matt - www.superdrug.com/Rimmel/Rimmel-Lasting-Finish-Foundation-Soft-Beige-200/p/245450

Really good, lasts all day and cheap enough for holiday.

Have you heard of the ordinary? Very affordable skincare brand, they have a range of foundations a full coverage and a light coverage one, I’ve been really impressed with it.

Try Primark.

Note cosmetics mattifying extreme wear foundation it's £12.99.

I always wore double wear but since buying note I haven't used double wear once

It's brilliant!

Oh thanks everyone, I'll have a wee look

I'll do without during the day, of course - but I do like something on my face at night. It makes me feel like I've made some effort 🙈

Is the Dream Mousse any good? I used it in my teenage years, it's bound to have improved since then

It was always very light
