Leg spots and bumps

Hello ladies.

For years I have had these spots and bumps on my legs. I have tried so many things to get rid of them, hot compress, salt baths, exfoliation, epilating, waxing, skincare products, moisturiser but nothing works.

Does anyone have a solution for me.

Thanks xx

It's where you've removed the hairs so if you don't want it you could be hairy instead?

How long did you stick with epilating? I used to have these when I shaved but all gone now I epilator

@Wellhellothere101 well I did it for about two weeks and then gave up. So maybe around three times on my legs. How long did you do it for?

@ShabbyAbby no way! I don't want to do that. I've tried but found it's not for me

I have these too, so my sympathies honestly. I have also tried various methods of hair removal. Just seems to be how some people's hair follicles go. I'm not sure why, though

You need a multi-pronged approach!

Laser, light or IPL hair removal (tria or Lumea or home), makes a Huge difference. You can't use light on blonde hair, red hair, white hair, grey hair, freckles or dark skin.

Gluten free diet

Fish or omega 3 fish oil

Sun exposure

Chemical exfoliants. Something to dissolve the keratin - products containing acids or urea. I recommend urea foot cream, Ameliorate body cream unfragranced and Paula's exfoliating body spray.

Manual exfoliation - gloves or mitts. Once a week max. Don't use body scrubs.

Check for any allergies

Drink lots of water and try to avoid sugar as much as possible

I found these went completely only after epilating for a while. Probably for the duration of the growth cycle of a hair follicle. So maybe a month or two. I epilated every 2 to 3 days in this time and haven't shaved my legs in a few years now. I don't have any black dots at all since I stopped shaving. Agree that acid exfoliation and urea will help too.
