I hate using hairspray as my only experience of it has been when it turns your hair solid ie to hold a style as a bridesmaid.

Are there lovely light hairsprays that don’t make hair feel disgusting? I have wispy bits of hair round my face that I would really like to get to stay flat but have no idea what to buy.

Thank you!

Elnett Satin

Elnett. There is only one hairspray.

hippermiddleton · 01/05/2019 21:08

Ha! I was about to say 'there is only one hairspray' too...

Elnett. it comes in different 'holds' so you don't have to go for the rock solid effect if you don't want to.

I can’t stand the smell of Elnett, I use Sainsburys own and find it work brilliantly.

florriepeck · 02/05/2019 08:58

Another vote for Elnett; brushes out easily, too.

Sounds like you need a finishing cream rather than a hairspray.

Musicalstatues · 02/05/2019 09:49

What’s a finishing cream?? Never heard of that x

Just go for a product that states ‘light hold’ vs something like ‘extreme hold’

hatemyhairhun · 02/05/2019 09:52

I like tigi masterpiece

I use Vosene leave in conditioner for my fly-away fluff! Just a very small amount lightly skimmed over my hair and it looks lovely, with a beautiful shine, too!

I have never found better than Pantene! The extra strong hold stuff, obviously.

Not a fan of Elnett, after it has an odour.
