What socks won't wear out so quickly?

I like to walk around at home in my socks, not with slippers. A lot of the floor is laminated and my socks wear holes in the heel really quickly. I'm getting through two socks a week! Does anyone know of socks that are hard wearing in the soles? What kind, where to get, how dear?

If you want socks to lounge around in, Primark’s fluffy socks are probably the best quality. I still have pairs I bought 5 years ago.
