Hoping someone can help! Sorry if tmi. How do you prevent a spotty bikini line. I've tried shaving, hair removal cream going to a professional for a wax and still nothing has stopped it from going spotty. I get very insecure around my partner as I find it embarrassing but I have tried so many thinga. Help a girl out... Please.

Same here ha! Got very sensitive skin that goes red easily. Bumping for you.

Same here, although it seems to happen more on one side than the other for me Hmm. The aluminium in deodorant is meant to help apparently as it closes the pores; you put a small bit of roll on on after shaving. I also find rubbing the area gently with a wet washcloth (no shower gel/soap) and then moisturising after helps.

Try a good quality razor such as the Gillette Raspberry and quality hair conditioner instead of shower gel or shaving creams. As smooth as a baby’s bottom!

Glad to know I'm not the only one! (sigh of relief) shopping today after work so will buy the expensive stuff and pray for a miracle! Ty x

Sudocrem!

Thisismynewname123 · 04/05/2019 17:14

I always had this until I got laser on my bikini line. It's worth the expense!

Lotsofsausage · 04/05/2019 20:18

EXFOLIATION all the time, plus apply witch hazel gel or sudocrem afterwards.

MrsDrudge · 04/05/2019 20:49

It may be folliculitis - a mild/minor infection of hair follicles. It looks like lots of tiny pimples. It’s very common, and not unusual after hair removal. Perhaps see a HCP - it quickly resolved with antibiotic cream.

Noloudnoises · 04/05/2019 22:21

Laser! I couldn't wax, grows back/terribly spotty within 7 days. Shaving/cream etc, within a day.

Ohyesiam · 04/05/2019 22:49

IPL, never looked back . I got an offer on roupon so it was only £100

thenightsky · 04/05/2019 22:53

I just tuck the hairs into my bikini bottoms these days. Or snip off stragglers with my nail scissors.

ASauvignonADay · 04/05/2019 22:54

Buy a Philips Lumea. I had this problem (although it seems so long ago as I've had my Lumea for bloody ages!) but now hair barely grows along my bikini line and it's really smooth, zero spots or rash!

ASauvignonADay · 04/05/2019 22:55

And I'd tried shaving, hair removal cream and epilating. Plus after shave creams etc to sooth, slavering with sudocrem etc!
