6 week blowdry

Would anyone recommend getting a six week blow dry?
I have a baby due in June and thinking it would be handy to get this done before baby arrives.
My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy and I straighten it every day so I think the 6 week blow dry would help me to look some way decent without having to bring my hair dryer and straightener to the maternity hospital with me.
Any opinions please?

Never heard of this. Is it a bit like a perm/ permanent straightening?

I don’t know the ins and outs of a 6 week blow dry, but it sounds like a fantastic idea for when you’re having a baby-looking good in less time than it would usually take, at a time when time can be short, what’s not to like!

No idea what a 6 week blow dry is but DS was 2 weeks overdue and frankly I didnt give a toss about my wavy hair by that point 😂

It's a keratin straightening treatment that's supposed to de-frizz and keep the hair straight.

When I had my older child I wasn't bothered about it, and in all the first pics I looked awful. My self esteem was low because I looked terrible so trying to take better care of myself this time and keep myself positive.

Ahh, similar to Brazilian blow dry or Keratease. I do mine at home and it's brilliant for my frizzy, uncontrollable mane!

Obviously I don't recommend you do it yourself whilst expecting but yes go and get it done.

Don't do it if you have blonde highlights or bleach - it will knacker your hair.

Will they do it on you if you are pregnant with the chemicals they use?

I had gel polish and eyelash extensions in an attempt to look semi decent after birth. Sleep deprivation kicked in and I didn’t keep it up, but I felt better for it when I did!!

Was just going to say get lash extensions. I got mine done pre birth and I felt so much more put together and fresh. Good luck OP!

Please tell me more about lash extensions!
