clothing brands for tall, large (not fat) men

DS likes a classic preppy style I guess (doesn't even know what he likes), wears smart casual to work, and he is 6'5 and an average build, he doesn't work out but he is definitely not lanky, He needs clothes that fit long in the body.

I've suggested Timberland, Gant and Hilfiger even though they aren't my taste and are a bit pricey as they seem to fit. Can anyone help with any more high street stores recommendations that might fit and are not M&S?

My DH is 6'4 and struggles to buy anything to fit, especially his long arms! The only thing he does find to fit are trousers from Gap as they do 36inch length trousers. All sorts of styles. But you say your DS isn't lanky so that might not help ....

Not high street but Jacamo do all shapes and sizes and I’ve never had a problem with returns / customer service .

DH is 6"3' and gets a lot of his clothes from Jacamo online. They have some designer stuff on there too.

My 6'5" DH bought some lovely trousers from Hugo Boss recently. The staff were very helpful too.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We tried jacamo and high and mighty in the past but he found things were too roomy, maybe worth a revisit now he has filled out to ‘mansize’.

He should give 2Tall a try, then - they do most things in 'just too narrow for DH' (46" chest) but with very, very long legs and arms. And they don't have half the stock or more under 'really wide people' - it's all Tall.

Should say I'm 5 ft 2 and do not work for them.
