Oh the disappointment [sad]

I was in M and S today and my heart lifted with joy to see that they now have stock of the Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial. I fell in love with this product when I received it in the M and S beauty calendar a couple of years ago.

My heart sank when I saw that it had "New" on it, so I tried the sample pot. What a disappointment. The lovely rose smell has gone, to be replaced by the slightly rancid smell that the day cream has. So I put it back on the shelf and walked away.

I did open an unopened new pot to have a sniff just to make sure, and it really doesn't have the lovely smell any more.

I hate it when brands do this. Why fix something that isn’t broken?

You opened a new pot which someone else will now buy, that was hardly fair was it?

I only sniffed it. I didn't stick my finger in it. I know that sample pots can go off fairly quickly because they have had everyone's fingers in them, so I wanted to double check that the sample pot wasn't off.

It's a shame that they had to meddle with the formula though.
