Are they all rubbish or is there one that actually works? I've fat milk bottle legs. Have they got better? When I last used them it was the usual orange palms, streaks down legs and bright orange feet I've always experienced when using them.

Clarins drops. You put them in your own moisturiser. Fool proof and you can build up the colour if you want to. They do them for face and body.

I've just started using the Dove one in the soft bottle and it's really good. I use it 2/3 times a week to keep the pastyness at bay and no streaks or orangeness. You do need to wash your hands at the end or you end up with tanned finger joints but otherwise it's been great.

Thanks what dyou mean by the "soft" bottle? Do you have a link by any chance?

Thanks jeaux I have the drops for both face and body but don't get on with them, they don't seem to tan me :-(

I like Skinny Tan Body Glow.

ilovecherries · 28/04/2019 21:38

I find applying with a mitt is a game changer. I’m currently using the Palmers, cheap and works.

SpeckledyHen · 28/04/2019 21:50

Clarins drops . You don’t get that horrible fake tan smell that you get with Dove etc .

babysharkah · 28/04/2019 21:52

Dove doesn't smell any more. Highly recommend it.

DeftandGlory · 28/04/2019 22:58

Dove works the best out of the ones on the high street. Good colour no streaking. Only use every few days though to prevent build up.
Garner was an odd colour I found and there was another that smelled funny.

Bondi Sands everyday gradual tanner. I like the oil or the mousse. Both amazing.

Tooner · 29/04/2019 07:47

Skinny tan body glow, goes on lovely and works quickly to give a subtle tan or deeper one if used every day.

roseinparadise · 29/04/2019 09:08

@Bobbiebrows is that a specific for the face or can you use it on both face and body?

SrSteveOskowski · 29/04/2019 09:53

Another vote for Dove here. It's the only one that works on me.

Bluesheep8 · 29/04/2019 12:25

I use the Avon gradual tenner for fair skin, love it

pinkladyapples · 29/04/2019 12:44

Bondi Sands everyday gradual tan. Smells like cocoa butter.

orangejuiced · 29/04/2019 16:41

Dove is good. Gradually tans, if you apply it every couple of days it looks natural and no worries about orange or patchiness.

blibblibs · 30/04/2019 15:25

This is the one I've been using. Did a comparison with someone at work today who uses the Garnier one, she thought hers was better as she was darker than me but to me it just looked orange.
