Do they work? Is there one that’s better than the others?

Vaseline works

princessTiasmum · 27/04/2019 17:37

I have tried lots and nothing works for me,even castor oil,
I have eye drops for pressure behind the eyues nd the side effects sayu could grow a second set of lashes, not me though
I have give up,i dont fancy paying lots of money for revitalash or any of the expensive ones,as i am now sure they just wont work on me

golightlytoday · 27/04/2019 17:50

Revitalash totally worked for me. Saw results within about 6 weeks and after a few months lashes were amazing and long.

I would then get lash lifts done and had what looked like false lashes. It's a faff remembering to use it. But I had my wedding in my sights!

I carried on using it up after wedding then stopped. No dramatic falling out of lashes.

It's expensive but really good results.

Hadalifeonce · 27/04/2019 17:52

DD has been using one since Christmas, the transformation is amazing, and everyone thinks she has extensions. They are thicker and longer.
It wasn't cheap, about £60 but GPs bought it as a Christmas present.

taybert · 27/04/2019 17:55

Thanks everyone. Reading reviews it seems that they really work for some people then not at all for others (or they cause irritation). Have you any idea which one your DD used @Hadalifeonce ?

I've just got the box from her room, it says FEG eyelash enhancer.

She did say that for a week or so her eyes were a little red but it soon was OK.

skippy67 · 27/04/2019 20:50

Rapidlash works for me.

Hadalifeonce · 27/04/2019 22:36

@taybert Apologies gave you the wrong name.... DD has just given me grief for giving you the name of 'a bad product' Should be Grandelash MD.

orangejuiced · 27/04/2019 23:52

Revitalash works for me. I ordered from QVC. Was dubious about paying for a product I may not like, but honestly my lashes are so long now, I use it every night. Took about six weeks for complete results. The only annoying thing is that when I put mascara on my lashes touch my upper eye lid now 😁

taybert · 28/04/2019 07:02

Thanks @Hadalifeonce, sorry for causing you to get grief from your DD! That’s a nice problem to have orangejuiced.

Right, I’m going to try revitalash as it’s on QVC with a 90 day money back guarantee so seems like the best way to try it.

Another vote for revitalash, I've used it for 8 years and won't be without it. Yes it's pricey but cheaper than having extensions done. I only use it a couple of tines a week now so a tube lasts over a year.

Bluesheep8 · 28/04/2019 08:26

@taybert there's an offer on qvc for 2 tubes for £99, plus you can pay monthly. Going to order it myself to stock up!

321zerobaby · 28/04/2019 08:31

I use Rapidlash, as a few years back there were a few threads saying how good it is. It works for me, usually takes 8 weeks to reach their full potential, and I paid about £23 on Amazon.

Toffeewhirl · 28/04/2019 08:39

I use one by Silly George. It has definitely worked - my lashes are significantly longer. Took about six weeks for me to notice a difference. I only put the serum on occasionally now and my lashes have stayed long.

taybert · 28/04/2019 09:02

@Bluesheep8 I’ve somewhat stupidly just ordered the single one because it’s the first time I’m trying it but since there’s the 90 day guarantee that doesn’t make an awful lot of sense!

OP posts:
Hadalifeonce · 28/04/2019 12:22

You have me wondering whether I should give it a go, as the results for DD have been amazing.
Only problem is, I might find mine would go missing.........................

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/04/2019 12:26

Revitalash (QVC)
It was devised by an American Optamologist when his wife lost all her eyelashes after serious illness .

My DD uses this , amazing results (though she is blessed eyelash-ward anyway)

FiremanKing · 28/04/2019 13:03

Honestly, do try Vaseline.

I use Vaseline with cocoa butter and my lashes are great. My daughter bought all manner of fancy stuff when her eyelashes went sparse after having lash extensions and nothing really worked. She finally stopped ignoring my Vaseline advice and had to admit it works! My step daughter’s are also now doing it and say it’s great.

EdWinchester · 28/04/2019 14:07

I use Revitalash. My lashes are thick and long and I often get asked if I have extensions.
