Anyone had cosmetic mole removal?

How much did it cost?

We're you happy with the results?

Did it go wrong?

Should I do it?

I've got maybe 4 of those large ish slightly raised moles on my face, and as I get older I realise they aren't doing me any favours.

Shall I lop them off? Will it scar? How long to heal?

Hi, I saw your post about getting a mole removed by electrolysis. I’looked up practitioners close to Belfast where I live who do advanced electrolysis but the only person nearby I rang and she says she doesn’t treat moles. I think the closest person after that was 70 miles away. I was wondering if you could tell me who you went to? I have a couple of moles on my face I would love to get rid of and I think it would be really costly to remove via a dermatologist. I know with Covid I couldn’t get treated at the minute but it would give me hope for the future. Thanks Nuala

My GP many years ago very very kindly removed mine which was deeper than expected to send off for a 'biopsy' so I didnt have to pay for it.

My son had one removed in July. £350 very straightforward op. I thought his mole was fine but he was very self conscious. It has left a red scar though that still hasn’t gone.
