Recommendation for cheap prescription sunglasses

Hello,

Can anyone give me a recommend for cheap prescription sunglasses?

Recently I've started to need single lens glasses for reading only, and I can't read in bright light without sunglasses. I have my prescription from my optician.

Realistically I don't spend that much time reading outside in the sunshine (normally jumping in water with DD if its that hot!) so I don't want to spend a huge amount. I already have several pairs of very nice sunglasses for general use.

Thanks

I got two pairs of prescription sunglasses from Specsavers including an eye test for €104 recently. I have prescription sunglasses and ordinary glasses already I just needed ones to keep in the car and handbag. If your prescription is mild Tiger do reading sunglasses I think.

Glasses Direct - mine are great. You can order free to try on. There are always money off codes too.

Asda, anywhere from £40 upwards. I got a pursuit off everyday g glasses and a pair of sunglasses both varifocal lenses for£120, they have been fab.

Thanks for the replies so far. Glasses direct looked great, but I was a bit concerned they were so cheap I wondered what the quality was like.

Any other suggestions / experiences appreciated.

Thanks Katy

Glasses Direct are absolutely fine, I’ve been using them for the last few years, normally in conjunction with a Money Saving Expert discount code which means I have had two pairs for as little as £14.00
I’m on single lenses too and treated myself to a pair of prescription sunniest for reading in sunlight.
I started using Glasses Direct after Specsavers had three attempts to make me a pair of glasses I could actually see through and failed spectacularly on each occasion.

Wilko's sell them for about £4, I'm going to try then this year as I only need glasses for reading.

Thanks everyone, I'm off to glases direct with some back up options if that doesn't work.
Thanks again
Katy
