I'm in the south of the UK. Today I am boiling hot in the office and still wearing my winter boots.
I realised this morning I have NO suitable Spring/Summer footwear these days. Vague memories of trying a huge range of stuff last year and none of it sticking because I seem to appreciate comfort more and more as years pass me by.
To be fair, I've always been a style wreck anyway. I have had to do an emergency Dorothy Perkins order this morning for a million shades and lengths of Eden's (no idea if they will look OK but I'm desperate for something to wear) plus 5 colours of the same top
SO - I think I need 2-3 different types of shoe for work/general daily life.
- A trainer - vans? converse? something else? Comfort is key!
- I like the idea of a brogue or espadrille? My boss has suggested the Sea Salt (might be something like the Beryan?) but she seems to be able to wear any "naice" shoe and find comfort in it
- Another type of flat?
I really can't wear heels daily - far more of a pump girl but they are dreadful for my feet and I'm sure have caused issues in the passed.
So what are your go-to daily shoes? You guys steered me right with the Knomo bag for work so I'm hoping you'll help here too :)
(I work in an office - big global "cool" tech company - but am fairly experienced so need to have a certain air of professionalism some days and can be more chill others - my boss is an all star's one day / boden nice shoes the next lady)
Thanks stylista's - will likely start a new thread about clothing after my desperate attempts these last few years!
