Good products for the newly curly

I recently had a revelation that my hair isn’t actually frizzy, it’s curly! This is a new development since my youngest was born so it took me a while to figure out.

Anyway I just bought a travel set by bumble & bumble for curls in TK Max and my hair is looking pretty good. It varies from beach looking loose waves to soft ringlets.

I’m not able to do the curly girl method as I have a scalp condition that means I have to wash my hair daily and my scalp doesn’t appreciate sulphate free products.

I do hair plopping but wondering what else I can use to encourage the curls. This has to be done as I’m getting my 5 year old and 2 year old out the door so I don’t have much time to play with it.

Pic is my hair today which I’m pretty happy with but there’s still some frizz.

After you have washed/conditioned your hair, put a small around of conditioner through your wet hair lengths (not scalp) gently squeeze any excess water out with your hands then add in your styling products when your hair is still dripping wet, squeeze again. That will probably help your curls form better.
Trepadora products are great, loads of info and videos on their site.
You've definately got curls, they just need some help!

Thank you! I’ll look up that brand.

Boucleme is another good brand for curly products, their curl cream and hair gel are lovely. I also use Boots own brand Curl Cream and that's lovely as well for encouraging curls.
