Can anyone recommend some decently stylish polarised sunglasses?

I have a pair from Decathlon which are ace at doing the job, but don't look great. I can't survive without them in the summer!

How much do you want to spend? I love my Maui Jim polarised sunglasses and would recommend them to anyone. They are many years old, I probably wear them every day between April and November, but not cheap unfortunately.

Thanks, shall have a look at Maui Jim. I know Raybans are also very popular, but hoping for something a little more purse friendly.

Maui Jim are more sporty than fashionable tho, aren't they?

Marking my place OP in case someone has a remarkable suggestion. I'm always on the look out for decent lenses in a fashionable style and the choice is pretty poor IMO. Even the designer ranges have pretty poor lenses. I would be delighted to be proved wrong tho!

Well I've just ordered these from Boots (because I couldn't be arsed to walk there). The "purple" is slightly concerning but hopefully not too obvious and I think they are vaguely catseye style but, as you can see, their photos aren't great.

I have some other gorgeous - and not cheap - sunglasses but you're right, only polarised does the job, dammit. I also have these (well an older version) which I keep in the car for driving.

Ebay have loads of cheap polarised sunglasses in all the different styles.

FreeFreesia · 30/04/2019 16:32

I think you have to try sunglasses on. TKMaxx have choice of branded polaroids.

Mixingitall · 30/04/2019 16:37

I have a pair of Maui Jims and they’re the best lenses I’ve ever had. Mine are more feminine than sporty. Sunglasses Hut stock them.

Have you tried Rayban?

PrincessWatermelon · 30/04/2019 16:39

Maui Jim's all the way!!! They are another level in lens quality - you pay more for a reason. They eliminate glare and have the highest UV rating, I believe. But they don't make everything dark - colours pop and you can still see well even going through tunnels, etc. There are a huge range of styles available.

These are the ones I ordered which have now arrived. Not overtly purple and not too oversized.
